Corneal 2D Cell Systems

CELLnTEC provides the following primary corneal keratinocyte progenitor 2D cell systems.

Primary Human Corneal Kerationocyte Progenitors.

CELLnTEC's primary human melanocytes are isolated in our specialized CnT-40 PCT culture medium, ensuring maximum proliferation and in vitro longevity.

The culture environment plays a significant role in determining melanocyte morphology. The proliferative design of CnT-40, combined with its low serum (1%) formulation, typically deliver melanocytes with mainly 2 dendrites per cell (image right).

Melanocytes isolated in less proliferative environments typically display more dendrites, but slower proliferation (see image below right).

All CELLnTEC primary cells are supplied as a kit, with a 500 mL bottle of the appropriate culture medium.

Cells are shipped under dry ice but must be stored e.g. liquid nitrogen upon arrival.

Furthermore, CELLnTEC primary melanocytes progenitors come with our culture guarantee, which states that successfully established cells, following our protocols and using our media, will continue to proliferate for at least the population doublings indicated in the data sheets.

Melanocyte dendriticy typically typically increases with less proliferative conditions and higher serum concentrations.
